Every artwork doesn’t have to be a masterpiece. “Done is better than perfect” is a principle for us to be cautious on being perfectly boring. Afterall, the Done Manifesto rule #9 reminds us to “Laugh at perfection. It’s boring and keeps you from being done.” Just like using hacks in your favorite game, the whole thing makes a boring and unchallenging experience.

In reality, all of us are allowed to make mistakes. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes! You can always redo, repaint, redraw, and repeat — it’s art, not science. Don’t stop until you get the result that you want. Never stop the routine to create a perfect momentum of making creations everyday. Compile and observe the difference because every artwork doesn’t have to be perfect. Instead, you’ll be surprised on how you will progress every year with great improvement.
