The second quarter has been such a busy month! There was Day of Valor and the endless Labor Day. And now, here are some cool events you should know this May. These will surely capture your desires for learning and inspiration.


Red Bull Doodle Art Philippines (Gallery Night)

Red Bull Doodle Art is back and will take doodling into the third dimension. Students from over 1000 universities in more than 40 countries will be showcasing how they interpret Doodle Art. One collegiate Doodler from the Philippines will get the unique experience to compete in an exciting global final where their winning masterpiece will be exhibited in the Global Virtual Gallery.

The Life Drawing Session 2 – The Zodiac: Taurus x Gemini

After the success of its first nude figure drawing event, Singapore-based non-profit art group Pens N’ Brushes will hold the second edition of its Life Drawing Session. The theme for this edition is about the zodiac signs of Taurus and Gemini and how the two coincides with one another. This intriguing theme will be incorporated in the event element – from the poses to music to venue setting. ​

Sikuna Collaborative Arts Festival 2017

Sikuna is a Collaborative Arts Festival where different art forms are celebrated altogether. The festival provides a platform where both artists and audiences experience the collaborative spirit through performances, workshops, open jams, and many other activities.

Art Weekend: A Summer Mixer + Affordable Art Show

There will be art jam sessions with Pajama Society and Erehwon Center for the Arts as they host Art Weekend as a family-friendly summer mixer to highlight the creative offerings of local artists and designers with live art, exhibitions, drawing competitions, figure sketching sessions, pop-up art workshops, and musical performances. Coinciding Art Weekend is Affordable Art Show, an exhibit that introduces people to the hobby of art collecting, by connecting them with artists offering their artworks at accessible prices. More than 60 artists are in the lineup for Affordable Art Show and will be on full display at the Atelier Gallery, Erehwon Center for the Arts.
