For a carmaker that used to make a lot of money selling powerful cars, the #MusketonMazda CX-3 is a clear indication of its new direction to entice a different market. And yes, that’s Mazda’s new generation of Mazdas coming out with a different look and feel to dazzle everyone’s artistic eyes without drawing the picture.
Mazda is different and creative. To strengthen their affinity with fantastic engineering design and artistic design, Mazda worked with five promising artists and graphic designers to create a marvel that will lure the marketing of a designer car.
Spearheading the concept of #MusketonMazda is Mazda ambassador Snap (Bert Dries) where he tapped Vince Okerman (@vexx_art), Alexis Gerard (@IcyBomb), Laurent Beuten (@ItsMagicHere), and Andre Levy (@Zhion). These four artists are the winners of the #MusketonMazda design contest organized by Snap and Mazda.
It’s a no easy task, because the project’s aim was to reconcile the differing styles of the five artists together. Perhaps, the #MusketonMazda will be the newest moniker of brand promotion to bring headlines to car enthusiasts.
Finally, a Mazda crossover that drives likes art comes to life. On behalf of the five artists who collaborated on the design, we saw how Vince Okerman takes the hot seat of test drive to showcase of the exterior beauty of art in the automotive industry. But what about CX-3.
Several years ago, Mazda’s first serious attempt at the lucrative crossover market was the CX-7, a modern, solidly built vehicle. Unfortunately, it was heavy, slow, cramped, and not very fun to drive according to critics. Then here comes CX-5 that is lighter and faster than its predecessor. Fast forward today, the birth of CX-3 defines a new compact car that is a leader in cutting-edge safety, convenience, and design. As of this writing, only a few car enthusiasts have tested the new CX- 3. With the concept of doodles on cars, Mazda is playing the automotive competition so well with its conservatively handsome CX-3.
