New York-based artist Emily Marchesiello specializes in fine point line drawing, oil painting, and watercolor painting. Emily’s work has undoubtedly made by strong inspiration from the natural world and the fantasy realm. She wonders about the world of creatures outside the plane of existence. “My creatures serve as a muse for the contemplation of life, death, and beyond,” she explains.

Emily’s process of intentional mark making is a meditation. Each line and dot is a physical manifestation of thought. At the same time, it is also a product of mindless release. The opportunity for feature was driven by inspiration from one of the members of Doodle Art Enthusiasts: ”I saw that you featured Kerby Rosanes and I really love his works. It might be a good idea if I could send too,” she smiles.

At present, Emily is the Art Director and Co-Founder of the Galerie Project. Based out of Brooklyn, New York, the Galerie Project is an exploration through art, music & space. Their objective is to create an interactive experience that promotes the union of various art forms. For her, adding music and visual arts will yield to passion.
