The Courtiers of Versailles: What You’ve Missed

An unforgettable 'The Courtiers of Versailles' theme awes everyone at latest edition of The Life Drawing Session
The Fourth edition of the Life Drawing Session themed, “The Courtiers of Versailles”, was held last 28th September at Penbrothers in Makati. The event honored the grand monarch and great lover of the arts, Louis XIV, who died 302 years ago. The venue, which housed over 40 artistic participants, was transformed into an opulent chateau while still maintaining the signature relaxed vibe.

Adorned with elaborate tresses, both female and male models executed elegant poses that mimic the aristocratic air of the palace residents. With lively French music playing in the background, the session was presented with individual ‘Monsieur’ and ‘Mademoiselle’ sets, followed by beautiful ‘tableau vivant’ compositions with both models.

Happening every other month, The Life Drawing Session has successfully and continually attracted artists of varied skill levels and backgrounds. Since its first installment, the event has delivered a series of exciting and innovative figure drawing events in Manila.

Aside from The Life Drawing Session, Pens N’Brushes also organizes another art jam entitled, “Portraits 360”. Its second edition is set on the 21st of October at the Fully Booked Philippines.
